Assistant Professor of History
Dr. Brautbar received her B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies and Applied History at Carnegie Mellon University, her M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Chicago, and her Ph.D in History from the University of Southern California. She considers herself to be an interdisciplinary scholar and this is reflected in her research and teaching. She has taught at USC, Wilson College, and Dickinson College in departments of History, Women’s Studies, American Studies, and Jewish Studies.
